Script February Header

Greetings!

"Cloud computing" is a hot topic. Our web-to-print and Print MIS applications continue to move to the "cloud." In-plants have been moving to the external cloud at a slower pace than commercial printers, but that's changing.

In-plants are now considering "our cloud or theirs". IT departments are actively evaluating hosting software in their data center with VMwareŽ or our data center in the cloud. We saw a big shift in 2011 vs 2010 as the percentage of customers installing VM virtual images and hosting in the cloud doubled to 45%. We expect close to 70% of new customers in 2012 will chose either hosting in their internal cloud with a VM virtual image or our external cloud.

RSA gives you the freedom of choice. You can enjoy the same software applications, regardless of their location. Give us a call; we'll help you determine which cloud to use - yours or ours - and even work with your IT resources to deliver the best solution for you.

Read on to see what's new with RSA.

WebCRD 9.0. Better. Faster. Wherever you are.version9

An upgraded release of WebCRD, V9.0, our in-plant web-to-print software is now shipping for new implementations. This release boasts faster performance, and offers more automation and time savings for print center staff and users across all WebCRD platforms - in the cloud, on a server, or via a virtual instance.

Employing RSA's Web Service Printing Remotely (WSPR) technology, WebCRD's cloud-hosted version can print direct to production printers from the cloud, without IT involvement or fire wall changes. See the WebCRD in the Cloud related story.

Current RSA or WebCRD customers can find release notes, a presentation detailing all of the new features, and more in our Customer
Forum.
