FROM THE DESK OF CHIEF INSTRUCTOR~Peter Swift
An instrument rating opens up a new world of possibilities, safety, and skill and allows you to get in and out when others are grounded. There is nothing quite like descending through the clouds, overcast and rain that we seem to have an abundance of this time of year, eyes carefully scanning the instruments and then as you break out of the final cloud layer, right before you looms the runway, right where it should be. You will find the flight training for the instrument rating a challenge and a thrill, frustrating and rewarding and some have said this is the hardest thing they have done in their lives, but the satisfaction you get on successfully completing the check ride is immeasurable. Why not add this to your New Years resolution and get together with your favorite flight instructor for a demonstration flight today.
I look forward to seeing you at the airport and am available anytime to answer questions.
