New yacht ... great destinations!
|
A sleek new yacht launching in May 2010 has just been announced by Tauck World Discovery.
Le Boreal is small enough to provide a truly intimate cruise experience; her size makes her ideally suited for visiting ports in the Adriatic, the Baltic and along the coast of Iceland that bigger ships can't reach.

Cruise the Dalmation Coast, dotted with ancient forts and castles, and looking much as it did during the Age of Sail. Brand new for 2010, the yacht Le Boreal takes just 90 guests on this Croatia tour and cruises along the Dalmatian Coast. Spend 2 nights in Venice to take in the rich treasures of the lagoon city - a highlight of your cruise from Venice to the Dalmatian Coast - the ultimate Croatia tour and cruise experience!
Tauck Value on this trip includes:
* In-depth visits to five UNESCO World Heritage Sites; Venice, Dubrovnik, Sibenik's Cathedral, the walled city of Kotor, and Diocletian's Palace in Split
*Private Moreska folkloric entertainment, a wine tasting in Croatia, private lecture and more
* Cocktail hour, soft drinks, wine with dinner aboard ship; most meals on land and at sea
Venture off-the-beaten-track on a trip to Iceland - a land of volcanoes and glaciers... epic sagas, heroic legends and a rich history... elves and spirits... puffins and whales.
Tauck Value on this trip includes:
*On-board naturalists who share expert insights
*Walk across the Arctic Circle line on a tour of remote Grímsey Island; see Arctic terns and puffins
*Private visit to Vigur Island where a tour of a historic family-owned farm offers a taste of daily life and an in-depth visit to Thingvellir National Park
*"Golden Circle" tour of Reykjavik and a visit to the Blue Lagoon
*Cocktail hour, soft drinks, wine with dinner aboard ship
*All meals, including lunch at the revolving Perlan Restaurant
*Service charges, applicable fuel surcharges, taxes, porterage and airport transfers
Tauck Value on BOTH trips includes:
* All gratuities
*Private Tauck Shore Excursions
* Service charges, applicable fuel surcharges, taxes, porterage and airport transfers
We are now taking reservations for the
new Le Boreal. |

To avoid a suitcase mess from leaking bottles (lotion, shampoo, etc.), unscrew the cap, cover the entire bottle with plastic wrap starting at the top and mold the wrap to the shape of the bottle. Then screw the cap back on, put in a plastic bag and you are good to go.
