Prevent Vandalism at the Landfill

If vandalism is a potential problem for your landfill, here's a few ideas for prevention:
1.Put padlocks on fuel and other fluid caps, so no sugar or dirt ends up in your tanks.  Locks might not always keep vandals from cutting the lock and putting dirt or other material into your fuel or oil, but if the lock is cut, at least you will know it.
2. It's not a good idea to lock the cabs on the machines.  If someone wants to get inside, they will end up just breaking the windows.  Instead, keep the cab unlocked, but take the keys and make sure that the machine is unable to be started.
3.  Install security lights.  If you need a light (motion sensor) in a remote location with no electricity, consider putting in a battery system with a solar charger.
