Blue Ridge Services, the company that's been providing hands-on landfill consulting and operational/safety training for nearly 30 years, is pleased to provide an innovative new service - The Closed Landfill Maintenance Program.  We'll work with you - and your current groundwater/LFG monitoring consultant - to develop a pro-active approach to managing your closed landfill.  We can now provide a full range of site maintenance services to help you save money and minimize long-term liability in regard to your closed landfill.

Here's what we will provide:

·         Review historical LEA inspection reports (No Charge)

·         Submit detailed questionnaire regarding site history and maintenance issues (No Charge)

·         Initial site reconnaissance & meet w/ landfill owner's staff, environmental monitoring team and/or LEA (No Charge)

·         Prepare a written proposal and cost estimate for annual maintenance (No Charge)

·         Review of Closure / Post-closure Plan

·         Develop Work Plan, including: Recommendation of initial work and on-going preventive maintenance

·         Tri-annual (at a minimum) site visits including site inspections and maintenance work (as-needed)

o   Pre-winter site inspection and wet weather preparation

o   Post-winter site inspection and repair

o   Fire season prep to remove excessive vegetation and protect on-site assets

o   Priority response to unexpected issues, severe storm events, etc.

·         Written Summary Report of every site visit: Work done / Important Issues / Future Recommendations
