If you have a lot of visitors to your landfill, consider building a model that shows the cross section of your liner system.  Include underlying soil, compacted clay liner, plastic, operations layer, etc.  A model of your liner can give visitors a very effective picture of the extent of effort that you go through to provide environmental protection at your landfill.
