Torishima receives order for Fenix
Power Plant in Peru Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. received an order from Fenix Power Peru S.A., Peru for the Fenix Power Plant, a 530 MW combined-cycle natural gas-fired power generation 40 km south of Lima, the capital of Peru. The EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) for the project is SNC Lavalin Constructors Inc., with offices in Bothell, WA. Torishima will supply Boiler feed, Condensate Extraction and Vertical cooling water pumps for the project, scheduled for completion in 2013. |

Torishima to join PumpTec 2011

Now in its 8th year, PumpTec offers a revamped agenda in 2011. Developed by renowned pump expert, Dr. Lev Nelik, and Water & Wastes Digest, PumpTec 2011 provides plant maintenance and engineering professionals with "rapid deployment" hands-on training exercises. Course study is specifically designated to reinforce pump theory, applications and pump repair and maintenance techniques. PumpTec offers practical and pragmatic training for everyone from pump novices to old timers.
Torishima will exhibit at the expo with Applications Engineer Carine Marseille from our North American office on hand to answer any questions relating to Torishima Pumps. Stop over and say 'hi' to Carine!
