Over 100 companies and organizations from all renewable energy sectors - wind, solar, hydro, ocean, geothermal, biomass, biofuels, and waste-to-energy-- hosted booths on the Trade Show floor. Exhibitors included equipment manufacturers and suppliers, systems providers, research & development companies, project developers and operators.
Even though the snowstorm that hit Washington chased everyone out earlier than expected, there were many good contacts made. |

Torishima Pump secures order for San Jacinto-Tizate Geothermal Project in Nicaragua
Torishima Pump will provide hotwell and brine injection pumps for the San Jacinto Geothermal project, a 10 MW geothermal project in Nicaragua that will expand to 46 MW by 2011. The San Jacinto Tizate resource is one of the highest quality geothermal reservoirs being developed in the world. The owner of the project, Polaris Energy Nicaragua S.A. a subsidiary of Ram Power Corporation based in Reno, Nevada, is a renewable energy company engaged in the development and operation of geothermal projects in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Torishima Pump specializes in double suction can pumps for geothermal hotwell applications worldwide.
