Art & Dream: A Talk by Author Thomas Moore
Thursday, May 26 at 7:30 p.m.The images of art and the images of dreams are at least cousins, if they are not even more closely related. Knowing one kind helps you appreciate the other. Both reveal something of the vast, deep, and potent life that lies beneath the surface of awareness. Just as dreams can be valuable guides to the individual, works of art keep society in touch with its depths. This lecture is a brief lesson in how to look at art and how to work with dreams. Thomas Moore is the author of the best-selling Care of the Soul and 15 other books.
