Five New Exhibits = Serious Fun!
If you thought contemporary art was strictly a serious affair, think again! BMAC's five new exhibits, opening Saturday, November 6, remind us that making and viewing art can be loads of fun.
From Steve Gerberich's "brilliantly eccentric, ingenious action sculptures" (NBC Today Show) to Paul Shore and Nicole Root's photographs of iconic contemporary sculpture fashioned out of candy, this new set of shows will tickle every viewer's fancy. D.B. Johnson's remarkable Palazzo Inverso, a children's picture book whose story reaches the last page, runs up the side, and continues upside-down all the way back to the beginning (where it starts all over again), and Eric Sealine's stupefying trompe l'oeil and forced-perspective sculptures will dazzle you with their ingenuity. Paper Trails, a sampling of exquisite, whimsical, accessible travel journals by three women, will no doubt inspire you to begin documenting your daily journeys today.
The new exhibits open Saturday, November 6. BMAC members are invited to a champagne brunch with the artists at 11 a.m., and the general public is welcome at 2 p.m. They will be up through February 6, 2011. See them early, and come back often!

Get away... please!
For ten days beginning Friday, November 5, BMAC presents an online auction of ten amazing vacation destinations!
Watch the sunrise over the Mediterranean in Andalucia, Spain. Relax in splendor at the Four Seasons Resort in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Stroll barefoot along Ballston Beach near Provincetown, Cape Cod. Listen to church bells peal from a 200-year-old cottage in The Cotswolds. Get up close and personal with elephants on a luxury photo safari in South Africa.
and much more...
Don't you want to treat yourself to the travel experience of a lifetime and provide vital support for BMAC's exhibits, programs, and education activities?
And the winners are...
