Arab Contributions to Science is Theme of Camp this summer:
The life of Abu Ali Al-Hasan Ibn Al-Haytham in the 10th/11th century exemplifies the Arab tradition of investigation and rigorous learning. We hopeour campers will be inspired by the ways he dared to analyze, dream, innovate, and challenge widely-held beliefs. Ibn al-Haytham's life in Iraq and Egypt captures the imagination, while his
research and work encapsulates the best advances by Arab minds in the fields
of science, math, and medicine. Our teachers have planned a wonderfully engaging curriculum that explores aspects of his life and work through the arts. Read more. . .
Order your T-SHIRT of Ibn Al-Haytham at Al-Bustan Camp!
We have a new T-Shirt this summer, courtesy of artist HAMDI ATTIA's creative design.
