Arab Arts and Heritage Celebration presented by School District of Philadelphia and Al-Bustan

 You are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Arab Arts and Heritage Celebration, a showcase performance and exhibit by students participating in
"Self-Explorations through Naomi Shihab Nye." This is the culminating event of our Arab arts and culture
program offered at 7 public schools in Philadelphia. Meet our students from Moffet , Feltonville Arts & Sciences, Penn Alexander, Elverson, Leeds, Motivation, and Ben Franklin schools.

May 3: Playgrounds for Palestine's Gala Dinner and Fundraiser for Gaza
Concert by May Nasr, Lebanese singer, at the ACE Conference Center. 4 PM, Sunday May 3rd
May 16 is National Arab-American Service Day, and Al-Bustan is sponsoring a Community Health Fair in Philadelphia at Towey Playground. We need volunteers to make this day a success! If you work, or know anyone who works in the health care sector, please pass along our request for volunteers. We would love to work with students who need community service hours. Please support this day: it is a wonderful way to show the concrete ways in which Arab-Americans contribute positively to our community here in Philadelphia! Co-presented by the Nationalities Services Center and Philadelphia Arab-American CDC
