Join LIN PR Associates at the Beyond Borders Film Festival March 25-29 |
During the past several months, we broke out of our usual box of promoting serious, business-related topics and delved into the art of film festival promotion.
Our new client the Rimé Foundation sponsors an annual film festival called "Beyond Borders". Its goal is to improve multi-cultural understanding throughout the world by screening films from around the globe in the Twin Cities.
This year the festival will be at the Parkway Theater, 4814 Chicago Ave. S. in Minneapolis, and you're invited.
Please call us at 612-822-8471 for complimentary tickets.
The focus this year is on films featuring Native Americans and Tibetans, as well as some fun outliers, including: "Sugar", an award winner from the Sundance Film Festival about baseball; "Big Man Japan", a critically acclaimed Japanese mockumentary; and "Idiots and Angels" and "Hot Dog", animated films by famous cartoonist Bill Plympton.
To check out the March 25-29 schedule, please visit: www.beyondbordersfilmfestival.com.
Media results have included articles in Metro Magazine, Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine and Where Twin Cities. To see a roundup of recent media results for the film festival, take a look at the latest issues of The Circle, Asian American Press, Asian Pages and The Edge.
The Beyond Borders Film Festival has been generating a lot of media attention, and we are proud to say that we contributed to their media results. To view additional articles that have featured the festival and specific films, visit www.beyondbordersfilmfestival.com/news/.
My associates and I plan to attend the festivities and perhaps grab a margarita at Pepitos on Thursday and Friday nights.
Spring and the Beyond Borders Film Festival are right around the corner.
We hope to see you at the movies.
Sincerely,
Lynn Nelson + the rest of the LIN PR Team
