 Volunteers Needed for 24th Annual
Art Fest by the Sea!

The Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help with the 2012 Art Fest by the Sea on March 10-11. We need your help to make the 24th edition of this festival the best one yet!

Stretching along the oceanfront along A1A in Juno Beach, Art Fest by the Sea has become a springtime tradition for residents and snowbirds alike. The festival brings together longtime favorites and the newest names in the contemporary art scene. Life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics, and much more make for one fabulous weekend.

It takes many volunteers to help produce and organize Art Fest by the Sea. Volunteers receive a free Tshirt and can choose one of three shifts per day in the following areas: Greeters, Buses/Parking and Transportation, Soda Sales, Information Booth and Merchandising.

Anyone interested in volunteering can register online at:  http://volunteer.npbchamber.com

 27th Annual ArtiGras "Impressive"

Artwork by Armando Pedroso

As the 27th ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival presented by Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center came to close on Presidents' Day, all who attended the award winning festival this year agree that it was one of the best produced.

"We attend ArtiGras every year, and every year we are impressed with the artwork on display," said Darcy Cohen of Jupiter, Fla. "And every year we buy either a piece of art or some jewelry."

Crowds filled the streets during the three-day event, which was blessed with great weather and no rain. Entertained not only by the amazing art on display, patrons took in the music and interactive art activities which included art demonstrations and an opportunity to paint their own masterpiece.
