ArtiGras kick-off Unveils 2012 Poster 

The Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce unveiled the 2012 ArtiGras Commemorative poster last night during "Red, White & Zin" at STORE Wine Storage in Palm Beach Gardens. The unveiling was the highlight of the ArtiGras kick-off party which featured a selection of wine, as well as food from Don Ramon's, Water Bar & Grill, Spoto's Oyster Bar, Rooney's Public House, Sushi Jo and Bonefish Grill. The evening also included live jazz music and a silent auction to benefit local school art programs.

Business Basics for the Life Science Industry

Palm Beach State College will host a "Business Basics for the Life Science Industry" workshop at the Eissey Campus Banner Center for the Life Sciences on February 3 from 8:30am-4:30pm.

 

This one-day event has been specially prepared as an opportunity for Chamber Members and the public to learn the business fundamentals, product development process and corporate structure of this industry - a workshop designed by industry insiders and experts with real world experience. 

 

The registration fee for this event has been graciously sponsored by Workforce Florida, Inc.

 

Whether you are interested in a new career, want to determine how your business can fit in, or just want to fully understand how this important industry cluster functions in our backyard, you are encouraged to join us at this workshop.

Trustee Breakfast with US Senate Candidate
Adam Hasner

Republican U.S Senate candidate, Adam Hasner, will join the Chamber's Executive Trustee Council for an invitation-only breakfast at Paris in Town Le Bistro on Feb. 3.
 
Adam Hasner was first elected in 2002 to serve as a part-time state legislator representing Palm Beach and Broward Counties. He served alongside Marco Rubio in the Florida House for six years. In 2007, Adam was selected to serve as Majority Leader for the Republican caucus, a position he held for four years until being term-limited from office in 2010.


The Chamber's Executive Trustee Council is a vehicle for top executives to network on a senior level and discuss issues of community-wide importance in Palm Beach County and the State of Florida. The Legacy Place Arts & Crafts Show will be held this weekend on Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22 from 10 am to 5 pm. Over 20 local artists will be onsite for this fun-filled event. The first day will end with an outdoor showing of the "The Blind Side" during Legacy Place's "Cinema Under the Stars" series (CUTS). Tailgate party starts at 6pm before the movie starts at 7pm. CUTS is located on top of the parking garage. Patrons are encouraged to bring chairs.
