A Lot to Like in New Spotlight Feature

ASR Spotlight Like Button

Your users now have the ability to 'Like' obituaries in your National Spotlight section, making sharing your obituary content via Facebook easier than ever!

When your users click Like, we post a story to Facebook indicating the user liked Obituary News - this post is customized with your newspaper's name and links to your site. After this, users will receive a story in their news feed each time Legacy.com adds a new featured obituary in the National Spotlight.

The new Like button provides a convenient, timely way for users to discover your content via Facebook, and all traffic is driven back to your newspaper's obituary site.

My Memorials App Launches

Announcing a new way to connect with Facebook users:

My Memorials™! Our brand new app allows users to easily gather and share obituaries and Guest Books for the people that have touched their lives.

My Memorials

My Memorials™ isn't limited to obits for friends and family members. Favorite celebrities can also be honored, and there's a section for Memorial Sites, so users can receive updated obituaries for an alma mater, a favorite sport, and many other categories.

My Memorials™ offers users easy access to view their favorite content at any time and allows them to share content with their friends. This helps drive traffic to your site, encourages repeat Guest Book visits, and helps increase sponsorship.

It's easy to get started with My Memorials™. Just visit the app on Facebook, or click "Follow This Obituary" to the right of any obit. The app is also accessible via the Guest Book.
