"This is why you are to come to Me as a little child, without fear, but in confidence knowing you are welcome and wanted and loved. You are at home in My presence.There is peace; there is comfort; there is hope and help.
As My Word takes deeper root within you, your attitudes will shift. Your mind becomes transformed, not just to have an acknowledgment of the truth, but you come to an actual living reality of that truth as it is expressed within you and through you in your day to day activities.That truth is designed to set you free. Put your weight upon it. It will hold you up.
When you encourage yourself with My acceptance, you will also find a deeper level of rest and trust.
I want you to know that you are accepted and complete and that does not change. I am FOR you. Let these truths permeate your being and bring the transformation you long for. It's time to live out the revelation by living IN it."

Loving You, Warts & All

What a quote! It's time to let go of the past and forgive -- whether family, friend, an enemy, or yourself.
How many times do you hold on to your mistakes, failures, & disappointments with regret?
Paul said "...one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead."(Phil 3:13) And he had a past to forget! (approving of Stephen's stoning, persecuting & arresting believers, etc) Yet, he did not beat himself up for it. He acknowledged he was the "chiefest of sinners", but walked in the finished work of the Cross.
If you are stuck in "if only", remember the "shoulda" quote. We have all made mistakes and done hurtful and stupid things.
God knew we needed to be saved from ourselves, not only from the eternal consequences, but from the daily torment of a guilty conscience. Such torment makes us ashamed and destroys our faith.
The true function of guilt is to bring you to acknowledge that what you have done was in violation of love. Own up to it without excuse and, if needed, make amends where you can. Determine to learn from it and forgive everyone involved, including yourself.
If your friend came to you in careful consideration and humility with a sincere acknowledgment of his wrongdoing, wouldn't you forgive him and want to restore the friendship? Of course. Why treat yourself any less?
So you have "warts". You aren't perfect, but you are loved anyway!
Say this out loud: "I am lovable! I am adorable! My Father loves me and I am the apple of His eye!"
Have a wonderful Christmas in gratitude for His indescribable gift!
