(1 Cor 14:3)
"You bear My mark. You take after Me. You have more ability and capability than you realize. All your strength is weakness compared to Me, but I have come alongside as your Helper. Do not look at your weakness, but know that My strength is made perfect in your weakness. Instead of allowing weakness to be magnified, let God be magnified and rest joyfully in My help.
The challenges you face do propel you to move towards discovery and release of the ability I have put within you, all the while you remember that I am your Helper.
Go ahead and speak those words of faith and declare how it shall be. Watch and see things change."

Ending Second-Guessing
Are you
second-guessing your decisions?
Believers who want to act in accordance with God's will sometimes find
themselves stuck in periods of indecision or swayed by others' opinions. Not wanting to miss the Lord's leading, they
are open to revelation, looking for signs or prophetic words. Certainly revelation is one way in which we
may receive guidance, but it must be tested in case the source is the imposter,
rather than God. Because of this possibility, some are timid, fearful of making
a mistake.
The
point is to not take unnecessary risks, but to take calculated ones.
When
you fall, it's time to learn from what happened so you can take that lesson
into the next season. Take responsibility and then move on. Blaming your
mother, the government, the church, or whatever else is a waste of your time
and keeps you stuck.
Consider
the common themes of redemption: acceptance, forgiveness, mercy, and grace. How easily do you find it to extend these to
your friends? Your children? Can you receive it when others show you
kindness?
"Blessed
are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy." (Matt 5:7) That's a great promise! I know I need a lot of mercy!
So, back to
your decisions. If you're wrong, what's the worst that can
happen? Can you live with it?
What
does your internal traffic light indicate?
Do you have a "green light" of peace inside? Or do you have a "yellow light" of caution? Or a "red light" to stop and go no further?
Word
of wisdom: NEVER go against your
internal guidance system. It's given to
you by God for a reason.
Apply
your heart to wisdom and make the best decisions you can based upon what
information you have. Then move forward, trusting in the Lord's grace and
ability to intervene.

"The
steps of a man are established by the LORD, and He delights in his way. When he
falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because the LORD is the One who holds
his hand." (Ps 37:23-24)
