First Priority and youthministry360
August 9th, 2010
Greetings!

At First Priority, two of our key strategies to reach this generation for Christ are to have intentional networking of local youth workers and help the local church to have vibrant youth ministries. It is always a pleasure to bring resources to you that assist in those things. Today, I want to introduce you to a new organization whose heart beats the same in these two areas. I believe that you will find, as I did, that youthministry360 is going to be a great asset to have for you and your ministry. Let me share with you a little about them.

youthministry360 is a youth ministry resource provider that is passionate about two things:

Seeing teenagers grow closer to Christ through a deepening of their understanding and application of God's Word, and . . .

Equipping and serving youth workers in the local church.

As you can see, ym360 and First Priority share the same passions. (Another thing we share in common? A zip code. ym360 is a Birmingham-based ministry.) The partnership is one we hope will grow the Kingdom and provide youth workers with the resources to be more effective at discipling teenagers.

ym360 lives out their passions in a few distinct ways:

        Bible Study Resources

        Training

        Networking, and

        Community

We are excited to say that in many ways, the partnership between First Priority and ym360 will produce fruit in each of these areas. While we're still working out the details of all the great opportunities we'll have to team up, you can expect to see some special promotions on Bible Study Resources for First Priority churches; some great training opportunities from youth ministry experts; and some opportunities to network with the ym360 guys to talk about resource needs and how they can better equip you and other youth workers.

All in all, both First Priority and ym360 are extremely excited and grateful for the chance to work together to support and equip the local church to disciple teenagers for Christ.

Take a moment if you haven't already to check out www.youthministry360.com, especially the great new Bible Study Resources they are offering.

For a daily shot of content (a few written by yours truly), visit the ym360 blog (www.youthministry360.com/blog). You'll find articles on training, Bible Study, culture and trends, networking, even some free resources.

And, for a daily chance to build community with your fellow youth workers, stop by the always-active youthministry360 Facebook page. (www.facebook.com/youthministry360)

I want to encourage you to take a few minutes and check out these links. Knowing the co-founders of youthministry360personally, I can say that these guys and this organization are the real deal. They want to help you reach and disciple students effectively. To do that, they want to know you. So, don't be surprised when they are at your next network meeting, shooting you a message on facebook or emailing you. The guys at youthministry360want to hear from you so they can help you. It is going to take all of us working together to reach this generation for Christ and I am glad these guys are working along side us.

Blessings,
Matt Wilson
