It's been awhile since we last communicated with you. Here are some of the latest and greatest, in case you were not aware:
** COLLAGE Exhibiting at LeadingAge in D.C.
See a live demo of the new software, meet some of our members, chat about what makes this program unique -- COLLAGE will be in booth 837.
We believe that aging services organizations cannot assume that the programs and services they offer to improve healthy aging are well-targeted and lead to better outcomes, unless an evidence-based tool is used to measure it.
** "Excerpts from COLLAGE Healthy Aging Conversations"
A new 15-minute video is now available
for viewing -- click here to see it . Four assessment conversations were videotaped representing six hours of live footage. It will give you an idea of what a COLLAGE healthy aging conversation looks like.
**COLLAGE Exhibiting at International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) Conference in Orlando, FL., 12/1-2.
It's our first time exhibiting at this conference! See a live demo, meet some of our members, chat about what makes this program unique -- we'll be in booth 2151.
** Trial Operating Agreements We have been offering formal 45-day trial period arrangements that allow organizations to pilot COLLAGE and include three training webinars. The trial period doesn't officially start until you have attended all three on-line training sessions. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit when making these arrangements.
** Free one-hour webinar, an introduction to COLLAGE, offered October 25 at 1 PM, ETHear from COLLAGE members and developers about how the COLLAGE suite of assessment tools is improving healthy aging outcomes. Click here to register.
Good wishes,
Measuring outcomes is critical; without them, communities don't know whether their programs are having the intended impact on residents and community.

"Our acute care statistics speak for themselves: since utilizing COLLAGE, hospitalizations dropped across two years from 173 to 137; pain as a reason for hospital admission dropped from 11 to 4. This is very significant."

"COLLAGE is a gigantic program for us. It gave me a chance to analyze what has happened in my life....and to rethink my life. I feel lucky -- life isn't easy but because I'm here there are opportunities to positively share and plan for the future."
Comments from our COLLAGE member conference, 2011
"I am new to COLLAGE, but what I realize is that it is a great system and our organization is not using it to its potential. My goal is to get it going in my company in all areas."
""So many things...I love the CFO business model presentation. Also, the session on the software was VERY helpful...especially on building the HAP using the assessment indicators."
"It is reassuring to see actual conversations with other coaches and be able to compare how you do your own. I also enjoyed hearing what other communities are doing."
"Make things resident-centered, COLLAGE has the ability to transform our community ; - )."
