Exercise & Physical Activity, Your Everyday Guide was recently

developed by the National Institute on Aging (NIA). This colorful 125-page guidebook includes chapters on types of exercises (ones that address

endurance, strength, balance and flexibility), sample exercise with numerous pictures demonstrating proper positioning, and methods for tracking progress with nifty forms. What's particularly appealing is that the guide covers very simple exercises with props like chairs and mats, as well as elastic bands, towels, and simple weights (can of soup).

You may order free copies of the guide from the NIA website --  click here to be taken directly to the order form.

Hope everyone is well -- good wishes for a healthy and peaceful holiday season to you from the COLLAGE team.
