Greetings!
Welcome to another overloaded Sunday edition of the Hot Finds. This morning you can find more than 5-dozen great auctions ending in less than 48 hours that I personally recommend you clicking on. The OA is pretty strong in this issue but there is plenty of other high caliber items as well.

Big Mixed Lots If You Are Patch Hungry |

Vintage Boy Scout Auctions Ending Soon |
I haven't done my homework yet to figure out what the gem patch is on the merit badge sash below. The old felt camp patch is doing very well as it should from the 1930s in that condition. Its been a long time since I had statues in here!

Big Finish Expected For These Old Flaps |
I can say its been a few weeks since there has been any really strong OA getting bids in the Hot Finds. All that changes today especially with the Pamrapaugh 14 flap and a few of these F1s.

Boy Scout Auctions Looking Pretty |
I don't remember seeing a hard cover edition quite like that 1963 included here. Am I the only one who is surprised when simple vintage equipment items like the reflector over bring pretty good bids on eBay?

Wrapping Up The Hot Finds Strong |
I guess there could be a few of the readers who aren't aware that along with 2012 being the 100th anniversary of the Eagle Scout award its also the centennial of the Sea Scouts. A few councils have produced commemorative items and that CSP below shows there is a lot of interest in them.

For those of you looking for an update on my Prices Realized series let me fill you in. The next book is nearing completion and I hope to have it ready by the end of the week. The focus here is council patches, specifically all forms of shoulder insignia (RWS, CSP, etc) and the old fashioned CPs. This book will have over 300 items and is sure to contain some real surprises. How many of you remember the council half strip in Explorer colors from Northern Kentucky that sold for over $1500 even though it was nearly torn in half? I've also continued to refine the format of the book to make it even more efficient and uniform. But perhaps the biggest announcement is that very soon you will be able to purchase each of the guides as a printed and bound book IN COLOR. My printing partner eBay seller radarbsi has invested in the technology to begin printing and selling color versions of all the titles. Look for that announcement later this week.
Yours in Scouting,
