One of the neat things about covering the Boy Scout category of eBay is that its always changing. Some weeks its full of thousands of OA auctions or perhaps a big CSP collection. The flavor this week is more Neapolitan with bits of World Jamboree, old insignia and WWW getting in the mix. I think it makes for a better newsletter when there is something for all collectors and certainly today's issue qualifies in that regard.

Talk about some old Jamboree stuff! Not only is that a 1924 USA contingent patch pictured below but right beside it is a uniform worn at the 1929 WJ. Now that you mention it this whole block is full of really OLD memorabilia.

It was a few weeks ago that I had the original cousin of the dancing bears design in the Hot Finds. Will these flap sets from the last decades become modern classics? I thought the Unami Vigil medal was pretty cool. |

If you like your Scouting memorabilia with some age on it then this is another block that will put a smile on your face. I could think of a dozen Scouters from my area who would love to get that Max Silber Wood Badge belt buckle.

I just ruined the day for two bidders that have their hat in the first auction mentioned below. Even if you saw the thumbnail that goes with it you wouldn't get excited - this seller is trying to give it away with poor presentation. However, dig a little deeper you will find the hidden treasure.
