eBay Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter
Weekend Rewind
  October 16. 2011
Greetings!
The Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter is written with the Boy Scout collector in mind.  Whether you are interested in old OA flaps, insignia, or vintage camp patches I've got you covered.  I'm sure most of us like to window shop on eBay and that is what is so great about this hobby newsletter.  I put you one click away from dozens of live auctions that have bids and are ending soon on eBay from a variety of sellers.  Have fun and good luck finding one of your needs today.
Vintage Scouting Auctions Going Strong
I think there are some really great listings here.  One interesting group being sold has multiple National and World Jamboree sets that include the rare Max Silber belt buckles.  Look for those scattered throughout today's issue.

OA Memorabilia = The Good Old Stuff
This block includes OA pieces going back more than sixty years including some very rare conference pieces.  I need the Lodge 435 S1 for my own collection but don't worry I'm not going to bid against you this time. :)

Scouting Auctions Ending Sunday/Monday
One of the rules for the Hot Finds is that all the picks have to be ending soon.  That rule helps make sure that when you click over to see the listing that its already in the home stretch where most of the action occurs.  These auctions, both old and new, are gaining momentum and headed for a good finish.

I have a few dozen OA auctions of my own to promote and I'm proud to say that some of my Pellissippi items are doing really well.  These auctions come from two different consignments I have in right now with more yet to come.
Its been a while since I've given the readers a family update so here goes.  We made big progress towards Halloween this weekend with Sophia approving the clown costume that my wife bought her at a consignment sale.  Patrick is going to wear a homemade snowman outfit that in its former life was a windsock of all things!  We have been walking our neighborhood making note of which houses have the best decorations and making plans for trick-or-treat.  I'll post some pictures on my FB page when the time comes.

Yours in Scouting,
