Greetings!
Today eBay is returning to its magical summertime strategy of allowing sellers the chance to list auctions for just a penny.  If history is our guide that means you can expect to see the auction listings in the Boy Scout category balloon to over fifteen thousand before the day is out.  Luckily, you've got the Hot Finds to help you never miss a beat, or should I say auction.
Vintage Scouting Memorabilia For Sale
I've found a really good mix of items getting bids and ending in less than 72 hours on eBay.  From silver buffaloes to silver beavers you can find some good stuff here.
World Scout Jamboree & International Gold
You should see what the gold stick decoration is selling for this week.  I'm not sure that is something I would take to camp to show off.  Speaking of showing off the orange border 2011 patch has sold for over $600 recently so let's keep an eye on the one pictured below.
Order of the Arrow Auctions Hot
This block is dominated by classic OA conference patches which is a treat for anybody from Texas.  You gotta love a patch that is affectionately called the "kidney bean".

More Boy Scout Memorabilia For Tues-Thurs
This email covers auctions that are ending in the next three days on eBay.  I've saved this block to share items that aren't necessarily vintage.   Hey even modern rarities deserve a mention every once in awhile.

I've got a couple of new posts on Patchblanket.com for you.  The first is trying to explain how a red wool jacket could sell on eBay for $15k.  click here The second is a possible spoof alert from the 2011 WJ. click here You can always keep up with the latest posts and comments by going into Facebook and clicking the "like" button for the fan page. Speaking of Facebook I actually attended a class Monday night at my local community college on Advanced Facebook For Business.  I left with lots of new ideas that I'll be trying to implement over the next month.  If you want to help me get a push use the share button at the top of this email so show your friends that you are a Hot Finds reader!
