Charles D. Jamieson, Esquire, is the founding partner of The Law Firm of Charles D. Jamieson, P.A. in West Palm Beach, Florida.

 

A resident of Palm Beach County for the past 20 years, Charles D. Jamieson has practiced family law for more than 28 years and is experienced in the complicated issues relating to child custody/visitation, alimony, distribution of marital assets and liabilities, and other family law issues.  He has represented individuals and/or acted as a legal consultant in family law cases throughout Florida, as well as in more than 20 states.  He is a commentator on the website Divorce360.com and contributing author for ezinearticles.com among other several websites.  He often has spoken to groups regarding family law issues and has been a commentator on radio and television.
 
Mr. Jamieson has been active in the community outside of his office.  He has been recognized by the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County for donating over 500 hours of his time representing children in the context of highly contested custody and juvenile dependency cases.
 
He is a founding member and current Chairman of the Collaborative Divorce Team, Inc., an organization of attorneys and related professionals, whose goal is to provide a structured, less expensive, non-adversarial alternative to costly family law litigation.
 
Mr. Jamieson also is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County.  He has coached girl's soccer and basketball for the JTAA and has sponsored a number of teams for JTAA. Despite his profession, he is happily married and has two children.
