We had another great experience on Wednesday night with the
women's Bible study meeting in the Activities
Center and the men's
Bible study meeting in the upper concourse.
There is an excitement in the air as we pursue growth in our lives and
find fresh connections with others that are on the same path. It's not too late to join in. Check it out this next Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
You can bring the whole family as the children and youth have gatherings
happening at the same time.
Miracles are the theme for Sunday. We could all benefit from a few miracles in
our journey with God. There will be
special prayer for anyone needing the miracle of forgiveness, the miracle of
deliverance, the miracle of provision, and the miracle of healing. God is willing and waiting to touch us in
supernatural ways.
Matthew 4:23-25
23Jesus went throughout Galilee,
teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and
healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24News about
him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with
various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those
having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. 25Large
crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem,
Judea and the region across the Jordan
followed him.

STEVE BELL CONCERT
|
Join us on Sunday, January 31, at 6pm for a special concert featuring
Steve Bell. Steve's solo concerts feature his award-winning song
writing and evocative tenor vocals, as well as his scintillating
finger-style acoustic guitar artistry and his captivating story
telling. No frills, nothing to hide behind - just the singer and the
songs, offered up in the unique way that only this artist can summon.
For more information on his music, visit www.stevebell.com.

TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE
Join us for a fasting and prayer emphasis beginning January 31 and
concluding with a special night of prayer on Saturday, February 6, at
6pm in the Auditorium. When fasting, replace the time being fasted with a spiritual pursuit -
i.e., Bible study, prayer, meditation. Remember, fasting is a primary
means of restoration. Humbling ourselves by fasting releases the Holy
Spirit to do His special work of transformation in us.

678 RETREAT "SURROUNDED"
678
presents the 2010 Youth Winter Retreat. We want students to join us for this
time of inspiration. Caleb D. Cole will
be bringing revelation and teaching from the Word. Coupled with a worship experience led by
Jordan Flower, we are expecting to be Surrounded. Hebrews 12:1 "We are
SURROUNDED by such a huge crowd of witnesses, to the life of faith; strip off
every weight that slows us down, run with endurance the race that God has set
before us." Surrounded will be held
February 26-28 at Jenness
Park. The cost will be
$150 (limited scholarships available). If interested in providing a student
with a scholarship or to sign up, visit the Ministries kiosk or contact Student
Ministries at 856-5644.
