Monday is the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and it provides us a wonderful opportunity to express God's heart for the equality of all mankind.  Sunday morning our focus will be "Reconciliation."  Through faith in God we can find healing and restoration for past offenses.  We are going to celebrate the unity we have because of His love and grace.

Sunday evening we are joined by Christ followers from many other churches in our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration service.  It is going to be a wonderful day as we come together in the name of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:18-19 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Coming in February:  CCC's Vision and Values.  It is going to be an exciting month of

inspiration and vision for the future.  I can't wait to share these truths with you!

MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. SERVICE

Don't miss the city-wide Martin Luther King Jr. celebration service this Sunday, January 17, at 5:30pm. This year's Keynote speaker is Rev. Samuel Rodriguez with the MLK Celebration Choir.
678 RETREAT "SURROUNDED"

678 presents the 2010 Youth Winter Retreat. We want students to join us for this time of inspiration.  Caleb D. Cole will be bringing revelation and teaching from the Word.  Coupled with a worship experience led by Jordan Flower, we are expecting to be Surrounded. Hebrews 12:1 "We are SURROUNDED by such a huge crowd of witnesses, to the life of faith; strip off every weight that slows us down, run with endurance the race that God has set before us."  Surrounded will be held February 26-28 at Jenness Park. The cost will be $150 (limited scholarships available). If interested in providing a student with a scholarship or to sign up, visit the Ministries kiosk or contact Student Ministries at 856-5644.

STEVE BELL CONCERT
Join us on Sunday, January 31, at 6pm for a special concert featuring Steve Bell. Steve's solo concerts feature his award-winning song writing and evocative tenor vocals, as well as his scintillating finger-style acoustic guitar artistry and his captivating story telling. No frills, nothing to hide behind - just the singer and the songs, offered up in the unique way that only this artist can summon. For more information on his music, visit www.stevebell.com.

Looking forward to walking in "Faith" with you!
