Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

Friday, February 10 (Opening Day) 10 am - 4 pm $24 + no-host lunch at The Prado
Visitors to the highly anticipated Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will receive a replica boarding pass granting them permission to "board" the White Star Line's R.M.S. Titanic, and from there the journey begins. The galleries focus on the legendary Titanic's compelling human stories as best told through authentic artifacts recovered from the ocean floor and extensive room re-creations. Perfume from a maker who was traveling to New York to sell his samples, china etched with the logo of the elite White Star Line, even pieces of the Ship itself, these and many other authentic objects offer haunting, emotional connections to lives abruptly ended or forever altered. Grocery Shuttle Shopping 9 am - 1 pm DMCC shuttle provides pick at the homes of City of DM residents and takes them alternately to Sprouts in Solana Beach or Trader Joe's in Encinitas, then to Vons and Ralphs off DM Heights Rd. We assist riders shopping, loading and unloading their purchases. Suggested donation: $5. Call DMCC 24 hours in advance to arrange pickup; rider registration required.
