Thanks to Our Supporters!
GiveBIG San Diego began as an idea to increase philanthropic giving in the San Diego region for local nonprofits who work hard to make our community a better place to live. Following match models from other markets, the San Diego Foundation believed their $150,000 match pool might result in $1 million in donations. They clearly underestimated the generosity of San Diegans! The giveBIG event was so phenomenal that their goal was far surpassed, and together, more than $2 million in donations was generated overall in just 36 hours. Because of that success, the San Diego Foundation increased their amount of matching funds by $125,000!
As reported earlier, our DMCC supporters raised $4110 during the first-ever San Diego giveBIG event! Thank you for supporting what we do to keep our Del Mar community vibrant, thriving and active!
