Update:  Brain Fitness on Hold

Brain imageDuring the summer, DMCC lost the office space where our Brain Fitness classes were held.  We are searching for new space, and as soon as we have it secured, we will resume our program - hopefully in time to finish before the holidays!  We will notify those who are currently on our waitlist either by email, mail or phone when the courses resume.  If you want to make sure your name is on the list, or if you'd like to be added, please call 858-792-7565 or email

[email protected].

Volunteer Alice Winn driving client Edie

Following

In-Home Connections

"What fun it is to take Edie to her choral group practice. We always have such enjoyable chats on the way.  I think it is commendable that she is able to share her love of music with others.  I am pleased that I can help her accomplish this sharing of her talent and time."

- Alice Winn, DMCC In-Home Connections Volunteer

You and your vehicle can give the gift of independence and mobility to a Del Mar senior who no longer drives.  DMCC is looking for volunteers who have 4 hours a month to give as an In-Home Connections volunteer.  Contact Jeannie Walsh at 858-792-7570 or email [email protected].

Only have a couple of hours here and there?  Then you might be perfect as a Volunteer Driver to take a senior to a medical appointment.  Contact Heather at 858-792-7565 or [email protected] to apply.
