The GIJP team returned safely from the Foundation for Jewish Camp Leaders Assembly. Thanks to the team at the FJC for a successful conference. It was great to have the chance to continue our work with the Jewish overnight camping community.

 

We are especially excited about the launch of our PJ Goes to Camp program. You will be finding more information about the program in the coming weeks.

 

We were also pleased to hear about the Avi Chai Foundation-funded follow-up study to Limud by the Lake (2002) that documented - in part -  the drastic shift in focus on fundraising and business planning by the Jewish overnight camping community since 2000. We are delighted to have played a role in making this change possible.

 

As we return to our offices and continue preparing for Passover, I refer you to GIJP Mentor Julia Riseman's article about freshening up your donor database. This time of year is a perfect opportunity to clean up your database so that it may be fruitful for you all year long.
