Message from the Chair

Hello  :

October's meeting was a huge success.  Thank you to all who attended.  Six Sigma can be a powerful tool when used for the right reasons, and using QuikSigma only makes it that much easier to reap its benefits.  The group that participated was diverse, to say the least.   We had some with a vast knowledge of Six Sigma and others with little.  Denton Bramwell from PMG, the inventors of QuikSigma, walked us step by step through the software showing us how easy it was to use and complete a project because of the layout which is built based on the Six Sigma process (DMAIC).  After the event I had several communications from participants that actually went home and, within a day or two of seeing the software for the first time, used the free 90-day trial to create some of their own project data.  Now that's what we call EASY!

November's meeting brings us the ISO9001 and AS9100 standards and the changes that have occurred in this years newest revisions.  If you have already, or plan to comply or register to either, please make sure you attend this meeting.

December's event was thought to be off because of a glitch in the survey software that showed we hadn't gotten any responses to our Christmas Social Survey.  Low and behold, there are quite a number of members that would love the opportunity to network with other members and leadership while enjoying a completely social ASQ event.  We will have more information soon.  Right now, the target date, chosen by the largest group of members, is December 4th.  Mark it on your calendars!  It will be a really fun evening.
