Greetings!
We want to hear from you...
"You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time"
We want to grow our chapter and in order to do so, we need to know what you, our members, want. Each of us has an expectation of what our chapter should be and, although we realize that we'll never please "all of the people all of the time", we'd really like to try our best at giving you what you really want.
You, our members, are our greatest asset and we are striving to build a community that serves you. Please help us by completing the survey you will be receiving by e-mail in the next few days. We promise it will only take a few minutes of your time and that we will try to incorporate all of your suggestions and ideas in the coming year. Help us make our community the best that it can be by providing input. |
Name the Newletter Contest
We've committed to improving communication in the chapter and we're beginning with our commitment to distribute this newsletter on a consistent basis; each month, every month, within the first week of the month. We need to make it our own by giving it a name and a theme, or tag line. Submit your ideas to Paul Harbath. The winner will receive dinner for 2 at Maddox in Perry. We will randomly select the winner out of the top 10 responses (as judged by current chapter leadership). Contest dealine is April 30, 2008.

2008-09 New Officer Elections
It's time, once again, to select next year's Executive Committee.
You may want to consider running for a section leadership position to develop or enhance your leadership and/or professional skills, network with others, or just to volunteer your time and talent. Some positions are easy to learn, others are more complicated. Some positions require minimal involvement, others require significant time and support. In all cases, members find the experience very rewarding. On May 3-7, we will send 2 Executive Committee members to represent our section at the Ideas to Action Gathering and Community Leadership Institute at the 2008 ASQ World Conference in Houston, TX.
If you are interested in volunteering for one of our leadership positions, please e-mail Paul Harbath. 2008-09 Executive committee will be announced in May's newsletter. |

Thank you to our members for helping us grow. Your support while we build our chapter is very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Paul Harbath
