Torah Talk

Over the past three weeks in school we have spent a fair amount of time discussing the holiday season: the preparation that we do during Elul, the idea of the gates of repentance opening, and soon we will speak of the imagery of the gates closing.  Have we, as individuals, done the work required by this season to truly repent for hurting others?  Click here to continue

This Just In!

The tribute book ads and messages are beginning to come in, but we know that as a community we can sell more ads to support the school.  As an added incentive, Dr. Berk will allow the class that sells the most ads (per person) to choose a costume that he must wear for the day.  In order to win, the class must sell at least $2000 worth of ads.  What will the kids choose?  A turkey? Queen Esther?  R2-D2?  Check back in a few weeks for the embarrassing pictures.

Both patterns and money are important elements of mathematics instruction.  Our new SMART Board allows our students to gain practice with completing patterns in a fun and engaging way.
