President's Letter
Our speaker yesterday was amazing! The paradigm shift she explained that is happening worldwide, allowing women's and children's voices to be heard - really heard through mass media, brought me to tears. They were tears for joy and what she's done to make it all possible. We will one day soon not have to cry for the sins and cruelties forced upon women and children in our world, but hear of their strengths, love and stories of success - and all because of Jensine Larsen!
I felt so blessed to hear her story and vision. She is such a passionate social entrepreneur and leader with her finger on the pulse of women's and children's issues worldwide. I was so moved by her dedication to change the world through communication, I've already signed up for emails. I'm also going to become a member of World Pulse - www.worldpulse.com for the magazine. They have a two-for-one offer right now - $30 for you and a friend to join. I'll be getting her magazine delivered soon, which I know will only be the beginning of my support! Next, I'll have to get on Pulse Wire and encourage some women around the world.

Scoops For Scholarships
Scoops for Scholarships was a rousing success. It looks like we made about $2,500.00 for our scholarship program, while having a great time at the festival! The weather was gorgeous, the music fantastic - a good time was had by all!
We want to thank our all-volunteer staff who so generously gave of their time & resources. Pat yourselves on the back!
Thanks to your hard work and dedication, we will be sending women to school with our scholarships again this year. We couldn't have done it without you!!!
