Movie Review "RV"
A white-collar workaholic deceptively persuades his family to forgo
their much-anticipated Hawaiian vacation for a cross-country road trip
in a fully loaded RV, during which they discover the true meaning of
family bonding, in Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld's family-friendly road comedy starring Robin Williams, Jeff Daniels, and Cheryl Hines. Bob Munro (Williams)
is overworked and overstressed, and though his proposal to hit the road
with his wife and two children at first sounds like a heartfelt bid to
get better acquainted with his increasingly dysfunctional family, it
soon becomes obvious that he had more career-oriented goals in mind
when planning the trip. The Munros have always managed to get by in the
past, though, and as they slowly become immersed in RV culture with a
little help from a full-time troupe of Winnebago warriors, they might
just make it to the Rocky Mountains without driving each other totally
insane. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
Much to my surprise some people rates this movie FOUR stars: (what did others say?)
I thought that RV was a funny movie, great for a family. I did find
myself laughing out loud a couple of times, (esp. when JoJo tries to
sing badly!) but this wasn't a huge knee slapper, and the storyline was
predictable in the end. I would say it worth renting, but I'm not
adding it to my collection.
It's worth watching. Not a trashy movie like I was expecting. Some scenes were hilarious. Yeah, I recommend this movie.
the whole movie seemed so fake! Dry humor! Kids liked it though! So if you're going to watch it, get it for your kids.
Check out the trailer...as in movie trailer! What did we think? (2-3 stars) It was a funny family bonding experience with both entertaining and not so entertaining parts...ok your kids will probably love it and the family will bond over this movie. Robin Williams does a bang up job of taking a difficult part and making it happen. It probably won't hurt your DVD player!

A recent testimonial:
We bought a north shore from yall and our sales person was Todd. I was at work and could not come in so my wife took care of it for us. Todd took his time with her and helped her through the buying process. His excellent service to us was greatly appreciated and we will go back to Primeaux RV just because of the service and sales we received. The service department is great and the service person we deal with is Gwen & every time we bring our camper to her we are treated like as if we just bought it. Thanks alot to Todd & Gwen.
