I have read a copy of Michael Jackson's will. Although ultimately nothing can stop family feuds, here is a list of some of things he did right in an attempt to prevent infighting:

 

� He did a will!  Most Americans do not do a will.
� He did his will within a reasonable time before his death. That way it was current according to his life at the time
� He named a guardian for his minor children (his mother) and an alternate (the Court might not be happy with a senior citizen guardian so there was so room for improvement here!)
� He named independent people to be in charge of his estate.
� He did a trust which disposes of most of his assets which has the ability with most people of being private.
� He had it done by a competent and prominent attorney who can attest to his competence when it was executed.
  
He may have had a disfunctional life but he was very responsible regarding his will. Unlike Anna Nicole Smith . . .
