VOCATIONAL RESOURCE MINISTRY
|
NEW MINISTRY BEGINNING! St. Peter is forming a new ministry to support those who are currently unemployed or under-employed, but is also designed to be useful to anyone considering a career change. The meetings of this ministry will be partially focused on practical aspects of job hunting (resume writing, job hunting, networking, etc.), and partially focused on developing and maintaining a Christ-centered attitude in pursuing a vocation, or calling. Stay tuned for more information and meetings to begin in January. We would also like to draw on the expertise of our members for this ministry, especially those in human resources or management who can lend advice to our members who are in need. For those interested in contributing to this ministry, please contact Scott Stamm ( elkhorn95@gmail.com) or Michael Ness ( michaelness@att.net).

THANK YOU NOTE RECEIVED ... One family who receives Snack Sacks wrote the following: Thank you to your selfless church family for giving so generously all through the year! My boys so look forward to their weekly snack sacks! You have truly blessed our lives ... weekly!
PLEASE REMEMBER SNACK SACKS AS YOU SHOP!!! The Wilson Rock Group will be putting the Snack Sacks together soon ... and we still need lots of food!!! So, please remember Snack Sacks while you are out shopping and bring your donations no later than Thursday, December 30th!! Pick up one of the lists on the table in the entry way (the one that has the big blue bin on it) ... or just pull one of the slips out of the lunch box! Another option - if you don't have time to go shopping, just drop a financial donation in the offering plate or bring it to the church office so that WE can go purchase the needed items. Please make your check payable to St. Peter and put "Snack Sacks" on the memo line. For more details, contact Karen Wiechman at the church office (817-491-2010) or by email at kwiechman@stpeterfw.org.
