Nominations for
Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors |
|
|
Attention Chamber Membership
It is the time of year to make some important decision regarding this Chambers Board of Directors.
At the end of 2009 we will have three active and respected members of our Board of Directors stepping down after their three years of service to this Board.
This will leave three positions we need to fill to continue doing all the good works the Powhatan Chamber of Commerce does.
The Chamber's Nominating Committee has named three active members to be nominees for these positions on the 2010 Board of Directors
-
MaryKate Gates - Powhatan YMCA
-
Michael Potter - RHB
-
Dr. Heather Williamson - Transformation Group If you wish to nominate additional candidates, you must nominate by petition bearing genuine signatures of at least ten qualified members of the Chamber. Your petition must be filed with the Nominating Committee within ten days after notice of those nominated has been given.
Should you wish to nominate by petition, send your nominations to Powhatan Chamber of Commerce Nominating Committee, P.O. Box 643, Powhatan,VA 23139
If no petition is filed within the designated period of time, the nominated slate of candidates as well as officers shall be declared elected by the Board of Directors at the November Board meeting.
