CONGRATULATIONS TO CHAMBER MEMBER STEVE ELLISON AND HIS PYAA NATIONAL REGIONAL ALL-STAR BASEBALL TEAM!!!!
(Business Opportunity mentioned below)

From Steve Ellison:

This letter serves as a formal request for donation for the Powhatan Youth Athletic Association (PYAA) AA (coach pitch) National Regional All-Star baseball team.  Our team placed second overall in the State Tournament held July 3-10, 2009.  This performance qualified our team to play in the Dixie National Tournament to be held in Goodlettsville, Tennessee on July 23-26.  We will be facing 11 other teams from 4 other states.

This opportunity has provided our children an excellent opportunity and experience that they are likely to never receive again.  While many of the parents are affected by this rough economy, they were willing to do anything possible to give their child an opportunity to have this experience.  We are estimating that it will cost each family $1,060 to make this trip (and this is a low estimate in my opinion).  This would cover mileage (600 miles each way), three days worth of meals, and three days worth of lodging.  There will be many other incidental costs I'm sure such as admission each day ($5 per person) and the numerous other things that happen at these tournaments.

Any type of donation from your company would be greatly appreciated and we plan to place an ad/article in the local Powhatan Today when we return to show our results and to thank our sponsors.  Additionally, we would like to provide a picture of our team that can be placed at your business location.  Should you agree to make a donation, PYAA's Federal Tax Identification number is 34-1432943-PYAA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Should you have any questions or would like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to call me directly at 241-5380 or steve@YourMarketResearch.com.  Thank you in advance for any consideration you give our baseball team!

Sincerely,

Steve Ellison
