Roy Boutard Day 
The 2012 Garden Season has officially begun! On May 6th, we toast the contributions of the late Roy Boutard, beloved Garden director from 1954 - 1984. May Pole dancers will perform as master plantsman David Burdick leads a tour of our many diverse display beds.
Don't miss this opportunity to view the many beautiful May blooms including late-spring bulbs, early perennials and flowering trees. After a leisurely walk, enjoy refreshments provided by the Herb Associates - our gift to you.

Over 300 volunteers dedicate more than 3,000 hours a year to support the Garden in all areas of its operations. Join the team and donate your time to one of our available positions:
Gift Shop Helpers: Greet visitors and share
your love for the Garden as you process sales for
admission, garden tools, books and accessories.
Morning and afternoon shifts available
Tour Guides: Lead visitors through the Garden, highlighting seasonal blooms and curated exhibitions. Learn everything
you need to know at a training session led by
Director of Education Elisabeth Cary.
Guides needed for Public and Bus Tours
Learn more about the many benefits of being a regular volunteer, including quality time with an enthusiastic force of garden lovers and - new this year - a 20% Garden Shop discount. Enjoy a tour and refreshments at our Volunteer Information Session on May 17 at 2pm.

Annual Garden Tour to Plant Obsessions 
Join the Berkshire Botanical Garden staff for a day-long adventure to gardens and nurseries for the "plant obsessed." Visit an eclectic selection of gardens, private and public, with the unifying theme of "obsession." Stops include the Walter Hunnewell Arboretum, Blanchette Gardens and Joe Pye Weed's Garden!
