Gimme Shelter: Architects Design for Shade

Enjoy our first 2012 exhibition opening with a tour of four distinct shade structures - led by the architects themselves! View ancient Japanese charring techniques as well as green roofs, reinvented traditionalist architecture and surprise sound elements while you sip from our famous Wheelbarrow Bar!

Our Executive Director Molly Boxer promises, "The opening party is a fabulous opportunity to meet the architects and designers of our first exhibition, when the Garden is resplendent with early blooming crab apples, primroses and spring bulbs."
