Fruit Production Pome and Stone Fruit Trees & Small Fruits Saturday, April 7
10am - 3pm
Learn the principles of pruning for shape, size, and fruit production of stone and pome fruit trees and some small fruits, including cane fruits and ribes. Instructor Steve McKay, Grape and Small Fruit Specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension in eastern New York State, will give a structural pruning demonstration on newly planted fruit trees. Notching, Rossing, Cutting!
Saturday, April 1410am - noon  Learn unusual techniques including notching of trillium, rossing hosta and dividing native orchids. Participants will take home some unusual plant material to "grow on" at home.
Instructor Leo Blanchette, owner of Blanchette Gardens in Carlisle, Massachusetts, will discuss seed sowing, root cuttings, stem cuttings and more!

Composting for Gardeners Designing an Active Compost PileSaturday, April 141 - 3pm
The first step to a healthy, sustainable garden is a great compost pile. Discover the differences between active and passive compost pile building, explore compost pile structures and learn what will work for you. FARM IN THE GARDEN
Summer Camp! Weekly Sessions, July 9 - August 3 
Join us for a new, full-day summer camp for children ages 5 to 10 held on the beautiful grounds of Berkshire Botanical Garden in partnership with The Farm Education Collaborative.
Our days will be filled with tending resident animals, gardening, cooking and baking the food we grow, arts and crafts, singing, games water play and much more!
