Architects Design for Shade
Reception, Saturday, April 28, 5-7pm
 Join us for the opening reception of our first exhibition of 2012. Meet the architects as they lead a tour of these exciting new structures that are bound to inspire and delight!
Keeping with our tradition of high design in small spaces, we explore a new design concept: how to create shade! The Garden will be in full spring regalia - it is a wonderful time to celebrate the opening of the season. Featuring designs from New England Modern & Co., Crisp Architects, Burr & McCallum Architects and Kristine Sprague.

Gardening After Dark
A Series for the Perennial Gardener

Join professional gardener Pat Parkins for an intensive exploration of perennial border gardening. The course is designed for both first time and intermediate gardeners at a time when they are out in the garden looking for new ideas.

Pruning for Fruit Production
Pome and Stone Fruit Trees and Small Fruits
Saturday, April 7, 10 am - 3 pm
Learn the principles of pruning for shape, size, and fruit production of stone and pome fruit trees and some small fruits, including cane fruits and ribes. Instructor Steve McKay, Grape and Small Fruit Specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension in eastern New York State, will give a structural pruning demonstration on newly planted fruit trees.
