What is your favorite garden book?

The theme of the next issue of Cuttings, the Garden's magazine, is things gardeners do in winter. . .including a special section on garden books and authors.

We're doing an informal survey to see which garden/horticulture books have inspired and "made you grow." Please e-mail Robin Parow and name that special book and describe why it's your favorite. A selection of readers' choices will be published in our next issue of Cuttings, due out in late November.

Receiving Cuttings is one of many Garden membership perks.  Why not consider a membership as a gift for yourself or a special gardener in your life?  Memberships start as low as $50 and provide a full year of benefits.

Moonshine Holler
Harvest Festival
October 1 & 2

Moonshine Holler, the husband and wife duet of Paula Bradley and Bill Dillof, captures the essence of American music: hillbilly blues, ballads and breakdowns with some knock-your-socks-off flatfoot dancing to boot.  Known for their musical prowess on more instruments than they can juggle, Paula and Bill are two performers steeped in old time traditional music who have performed and taught across the country and abroad.

Enjoy them at our Harvest Festival Sunday, October 2nd from 4:10 - 5:00. Click here for a complete lineup of Harvest Festival entertainment.

See You at the Harvest Festival!
