"The Mushroom Season of the Century"

We've got you covered this weekend if you're a fan of fungi

Stalking Wild Mushrooms in the Berkshires

Saturday, September 17, 1-3 pm

This lecture/field study is instructed by John Wheeler, the current president of the Berkshire Mycological Society. Learn all about fungi with a focus on those commonly called mushrooms - found in abundance this season thanks to perfect growing conditions (read: hurricane drenching rains!)  After an illustrated lecture, participants will explore a nearby woodland and hunt for wild mushrooms.
