Big News from the Garden!

Winter Lecture 2012 Features Michael Dirr 



Save the Date! 
Berkshire Botanical Garden presents acclaimed horticulturist and author Michael Dirr Saturday, February 18, 2 pm at the Garden's annual Winter Lecture. 

 

Best known for his book, Dirr's Hardy Trees and Shrubs - An Illustrated Encyclopedia, his presentation at the Garden, The World According to Dirr: Trees and Shrubs for the 21st Century, promises to be an exceptional opportunity to hear one of the world's prominent experts on woody plants, complete with his signature humor and style. Registration for this event will begin in early January - please watch the Garden's website for lecture details, and read weekly e-blasts for more information about Michael Dirr, his new book, and our pre-lecture contest - "Dirr-isms" to win free lecture tickets.

Berkshire Botanical Garden offers the region's only Horticulture Certificate Program.  Held in partnership with Berkshire Community College, three levels of certificates are available beginning Tuesday, September 6.
