 We are so excited about this year's Harvest Festival! Our 77th annual Harvest Festival on Saturday and Sunday October 1st & 2nd continues its legacy as a beloved Berkshire tradition. This year's Festival combines legendary autumnal fun with an expanded Farmer's Market, 60+ artisans and crafters, children's activities galore, vaulting demonstrations (gymnastics on horseback) and great entertainment.

Calling all Volunteers
Each year, hundreds of volunteers are needed to assist with Festival preparations, assist with the many booths and activities, and help BBG staff with a myriad of tasks. Volunteering is a great way to enjoy this wonderful autumn event and the camaraderie is a priceless perk!

We want your gently used household goods, (no electronics, please) books, clothing and toys!
All donations are tax deductable and proceeds benefit the Garden's Education programs.
Please bring donations to the Garden's Visitor's Center/Administration Office Monday through Friday, 9 am - 4 pm. Got a heavy item? Let us know and we'll have someone waiting to assist you when you arrive. Questions? Call 413-298-3926.

There is Still Time to Register. . .
Horticulture Certificate Program Info Session Tuesday, August 30, 5 pm at the Garden

Can you picture yourself with fellow Horticulture Certificate Program graduates next spring?
If the answer is yes, there is still time to register for this semester's program. An informational session is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, 5 pm at the Garden, when Education Director Elisabeth Cary will be on hand to answer your questions and outline the program.
The Garden's Horticulture Certificate Program is offered in partnership with Berkshire Community College and includes certificates in the following:
Level I - Certificate in Horticulture Included are seven Level I core courses and a garden practicum.
Level II - Certificate in Garden Design Requirements: Completion of a Level I Certificate, four core Level II design courses and the final design project.
Level III - Advanced Certificates
Level III certificates focus on the individual needs of athe advanced student who has satisfied requirements in Levels I and II. Students can concentrate in horticulture or design or may choose a concentration in sustainable horticulture and native plant garden design.
