I have the most wonderful friends and clients.  It was such a surprise to be nominated as best wedding photographer in San Diego, considering I've only photographed a few weddings there.  Thank you so much for voting for me and for all the amazing testimonials.  I am really touched and honored.  It's one of the best things about my job...to be a part of family milestones and traditions.  Voting is open until September 4th, so I will be sure to include the outcome in next month's newsletter.

In other news, I am looking for teen spokes models for the upcoming school year. (more details below) Lots of fun perks and insider deals, so if you know any teens that would be interested, let me know.

Teen Spokes Models Wanted

I wish I had gotten more fun photographs when I was a teenager.  Looking back, the only professional photos I have are stuffy, studio shots.  Nothing that shows who I was.  ILA's Top Portait Photographer loved horses, the outdoors and goofing around.  I wish I had images that showed off my personality and likes from way back when. 

This year I really want to focus on giving that to you. Fun, creative shots that show off your teens.  As spokes models, LA's Top Portait Photographerthe teens will earn print credits and receive a free session in return for promoting Fusaro Photography.  If you know know any teens that are outgoing, friendly and want to have some fun, let me know.

Thanks to everyone who asked about Sky, the former junkyard dog.  I am happy to say she found a home.  And a wonderful one where she will be loved and spoiled rotten.

Speaking of dogs...This year's fall fund raising will benefit Barks Of Love, a wonderful rescue group in Orange County that helps dogs like Sky.  We are planning a weekend mini session event, a calendar  and some other fun stuff.  I'll be sure to keep you up to date.  In the meantime, take a look at their website or become a fan of Barks of Love on Facebook.

Photo Tip Of The Month

A simple background shows off the person you are photographing. When you look through the your viewfinder, study the area surrounding your subject. Make sure no poles or trees are growing from their heads.  Be aware of all the shapes that could be a distraction.  Sometimes all it takes is a small shift from where you are standing or a tilt of the camera.
